NDIS Home Modification
Home modification services are important, especially when circumstances at home are changing as life goes on. NDIS participants, in particular, require more home modifications than most, to adapt to their requirements and comforts. Here at Alleviate Health Supports, we are able to aid you with making decisions and hiring the right people!
When in the process of modifying your home, our trained experts will consult you before creating a modification plan that suits you and your current lifestyle. All you have to do is tell us what you want, and we will ensure that it is provided.
Costs may be covered by the NDIS funding allowance. However, this must be double-checked during your consultation.
However, home modification may be included in your funding plan if:
- due to the impact of your disability, either you or your carer cannot access a room you normally would have access to
- your primary and current residence is in a state that is unable to support living and care arrangements
- an occupational therapist has performed a thorough examination and deemed your home in need of home modifications
